Ingredients

  • 1 x 185g can Safcol Tuna in oil Italian style, drained
  • 200g dried pasta of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 small cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ teaspoon dried chilli flakes or 1 small fresh bird’s eye chilli deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • 1 tablespoon baby capers
  • ½ cup flat leaf parsley, roughly chopped
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pan of salted boiling water according to packet instructions.
  2. Drain pasta and reserve a small amount of the cooking water.
  3. Return the pasta to the pan and add a ¼ cup of cooking water and the remaining ingredients.
  4. Mix well to combine and break up tuna. Taste and season, add extra chilli to taste.
